Join the App Inventor Foundation for a 4-day, all-expenses-paid professional development workshop—plus a $700 stipend and 28 Texas CPE credit hours upon completion—from July 21-24, 2025, at the University of Texas at San Antonio’s new College of AI, Cyber and Computing.

Bring Ethical Generative AI & Data Science to your classroom! This immersive workshop will prepare you to teach AI and data science through MIT App Inventor—a free, beginner-friendly platform that enables learners in over 195 countries to design and build mobile apps, with nearly 30 million apps created. Dive into free, standards-based AI and data-science curricula designed with a human-centered, ethics-first approach aligned with the UNESCO AI Competency Frameworks.

Over the four-day workshop, you will gain hands-on experience with four flexible curricular units that can be taught independently or integrated into a cross-curricular semester course:
